The location was wonderful - very close to St. John's Basilica, to the Ephesus Museum, to cafes and restaurants, etc., and it's in a very quiet area with cobblestone streets and little traffic. The courtyard, shaded by a huge mulberry tree, is quite beautiful. The included breakfast was over the top, with eggs cooked to order, lots of fruits, delicious olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, breads, jams, etc. Tea and coffee were offered, and our cups were refilled. Best of all, free transportation was offered to and from Ephesus, and we were also able to borrow a guidebook. We received very helpful personal service here. The courtyard cats are cute too.
Nilya Hotel has a very welcoming atmosphere, beautiful Turkish decor, comfortable bedding and serves a generous and healthy breakfast on a lovely terrace each morning. The hosts offer great tips on how to best see the local sights. This location is walking distance to a number of historic sights and they also offer a shuttle to and from Ephesus which was quite helpful.
After being on the road for a couple of weeks we felt like we were at home. James and the owners were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. And the best breakfast in Turkey. We loved sitting in the courtyard chatting. These guys know how to do hospitality. Short walk to Basilica and amazing carpet gallery and a free ride to Ephesis and great advise for local things. Highly recommend..
Breakfast of fruit eggs and cheese was excellent and good strong coffee too. Nazmi the owner and everyone working there were extremely helpful and friendly and made getting around Ephesus easy and my stay a pleasure.
Loved the courtyard. Breakfast was excellent. When we arrived it was very hot and we sat in the AC and ordered cold water. In addition to the water we were each served a perfect nectarine.

Lovely hotel with many historical details. The shady courtyard garden was a soothing place to have breakfast. The owner's young daughters did a great job assisting with breakfast service, etc. The owners drove us to Ephesus and back again for free.

The Hotel was very beautiful. The decor and courryard were so beautiful. The owner Nazmi and his family were so so kind and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Your choice of boiled, scrambled or omelette. Beautiful jams, bread, fruits. Very close to Ephesus.
Breakfast was nice esp. for vegetarians like us. The location is nice, near the city center.
